Adding a pumpkin to our patch!

We're so excited to announce baby Marshall #2 is coming soon!!!

Chris & I are so over the moon about expanding our family! Being a parent is the hardest, most rewarding job in the entire world and there is nothing I love more than being a mommy :)

This pregnancy has been horrible compared to my first. I've had morning sickness every. single. day. As well as just having 0% energy while still having to chase a toddler around. It's been tough but I know when April comes it will all be worth it :)

We're just so happy we've been given the chance to be parents again to a little tiny human and love and nurture him or her as much as we love and adore our daughter.

Thanks for sharing this special news with us :)

Witches hat!

I still can't believe October is only a week and a half away. Where has this year gone?! I especially love fall, the beautiful weather, warm cozy sweaters, a nice hot cup of hot chocolate and a piece of pumpkin bread. & all the fun crafts!!!

I of course had to go to my fav wood store, Wood Creations Crafts, and see what fun stuff they have up their sleeves and found this super cute witches hat. I normally always make wreaths for holidays, but already have a Halloween one, so I decided to mix things up a bit this year.

Here's how all the crafts start out. The wood is cut and comes with all the pieces, you get to paint and embellish them yourself! (This is the back of the hat. I only paint the back and the edges because the paper will be on the front side)

Next, you have to trace your paper and cut it out. This one was a little difficult because I used 4 different pieces of cardstock.

Here's all the cardstock cut out.

Now you Modge podge the paper, and let dry. Make sure to try to get all the wrinkles out while it's wet.

All glued! The next 2 steps are completely optional I just do them for the look of it. I sand paper the edges to make sure the paper is fitted perfectly and not hanging off the edges.

I then use black or brown eyeshadow and a brush and apply to the edges.

Like I said it's completely optional but here's what it looks like. I like the rustic antique look to it.

Now glue your hat buckle down! I added the star with some wire and hot glue and complete!!

This is the hat my friend did, I especially love her colors, super festive and adorable!!

Come and get your lemonade!

I love love love (did I say love?) crafts!
They make me so happy, so of course
Party planning is one of my fav things :)

This lemonade stand was too cute not to share!!

My mom actually found the exact measurements on Pinterest. I apologize I don't know the original source.

To Home Depot we go!
I actually had a gentleman cut each piece
to the exact measurements as the photo above. He was super awesome and it didn't take long.

Purchased some white paint & off we went! All and all I think the paint plus wood cost around $50.

Before painting (5 pieces total)
I did two coats of paint!
With the help of my mama :)

After the paint dried my dad used a nail gun to secure the stand. Sorry he did this when I wasn't there or else I would have taken pictures. But just nail the crates together, then attach and nail one of the side pieces to each crate, then the name board! Im sure just looking at the pictures you can figure it out. :)

After, we wrote her name on it, and I couldn't be happier!

Then for photos I just decorated it!
