DIY: {Spring} Banner!

Let's start this blog with some fun! And what is more fun than a spring craft? Here's a step by step 'how to!'

You will need:

•Various card stock
•scissors
•hot glue gun or scrapbook glue
•Letters (purchased mine from Michael's)
•Twine
•Hole punch

Step 1: Cut two, 3-inch pieces of card stock.

Step 2: accordion fold each one

Step 3: Glue both pieces together to make a complete circle. I used hot glue for a stronger hold.

Step 4: fold paper in and hot glue center to keep together (hold down for about a minute) don't worry if they aren't completely together, when you add the circle it will adhere everything!

Step 5: I actually used my cricut to cut the inner circle shapes, but you could easily trace a circle using a bottom of a vase, cup, etc. for each cardstock and it would work out perfectly.

Step 6:  Hot glue circles down, then glue letters. I purchased my letters from Michael's already glittery, but you can even buy some plain ones, paint them and add whatever glitter you want!

Step 7: Hole punch on each side, add some twine and voila!

                     SPRING BANNER!

The possibilities are endless!

*Side note: this is my first blog post, so bare with me! I skipped a few photos during the crafting process, so if you need more instructions, I'm happy to help! Xoxo
